Ho una domanda che mi ha lasciato sempre qualche dubbio:
in giornate estive ma fredde come queste (almeno qui a Milano...) come bisogna comportarsi? Ovvero, io ho staccato tutti i riscaldamenti ausiliari dal terrario dei miei Hemitheconyx e oggi la temperatura nel terrario è intorno ai 26°C...in natura e nel loro habitat naturale sicuramente capiteranno giornate come queste, ma in cattività che fare? Riattacco lo spot per tornare sopra i 30°C oppure lascio stare che intanto hanno preannunciato il ritorno del caldo per il fine settimana?

I've got a question that has always left some doubt in me:
in cold summer days like today (as here in Milan...) how do i behave? That is, i have detached all the auxiliary heatings from my Hemitheconyx's terrarium and today the temperature inside the terrarium is about 26 degrees... in nature and in their natural habitat there are for sure days like these, but what should i do in captivity? Have i to reconnect the spot in order to return over 30 degrees or do i leave it as it is, while they have preannounced the return of the hot temperatures for the weekend?

Io solitamente nelle giornate estive più fresche lascio che la temperatura si abbassi, certo che se vedo che in 4-5 giorni non è ritornata ad alzarsi faccio in modo di riportarla tra i 28° e i 30°C.

I usually leave the temperature in the coolest summer days more low, But if I notice that in 4-5 days it's not coming up again I make it again between 28° and 30°C.
