Your English is just fine, but moreover - much better than my Italian  In my experience eggs from these species of gecko always go through a diapause: Homopholis wahlbergi (about 8-9 months total incubation), Blaesodactylus - all species (7-12 months total incubation), Haemodracon riebeckii (9...

I led a group of researchers who were interested in finding and studying the current status of G. daudini in the Grenadines. There has been some problems for people to find them, and I understand well how they live and find them to be very common - so, was hired for the job ;-) I also visited severa...

At some point in the future, I suppose I should offer to take some Italian gecko friends to the Caribbean for a guided gecko/reptile hunt! It is a very nice area for travelling and certainly the nice Gonatodes , Sphaerodactylus and Aristelliger make a trip even more interesting! A few snakes from the southern Caribbean

Giorgio, It is very special that you have this rare species. It is very hard to find in nature and lives in a very small area. I am glad they live in your terrarium. However, I notice in your signature that your location is in Carpi .............. as in Ptenopus carpi ? Perhaps you live in the terra...

Roby, The P. rugosus you have are from the nicest population of this species - those from the far north range. They should have a lot of white coloration as they mature, and give you very high coloration contrast juveniles and adults in the future. Congratulations! Jon _______________ Roby, lo P. ru...

Hi Manu and everyone, You should prepare yourself for the chance that the eggs can take nearly one year to hatch. All Blaesodactylus , and mainland Homopholis wahlbergi , eggs endure a period of inactivity for some months prior to beginning development. In the end, you will be rewarded with some gia...
