But mom (and father) and babies can coexist without problems?

Holodactylus africanus are not so hard to find on the American market, however, they are usually in very bad shape when you get them.
I only put the babies with the mother for this picture...i do not raise hatchlings of any species together with the parents. Even though the adults will "usually" not eat them (but some do) i like to be able to keep track of how the babies are doing, so i keep them in much smaller terrariums.
To breed Holodactylus, you must simulate wet and dry periods. the wet period can be somewhat cooler in temperature, and the dry season should be a fair amount hotter.

Holodactylus africanus non è difficile da trovare sul mercato americano, tuttavia, di solito sono messi male.
Ho unito i baby alla mamma solo per scattare questa foto...non allevo mai i cuccioli di nessuna specie con i genitori. Anche se "solitamente" gli adulti non mangiano i piccoli (anche se può capitare) mi piace poter seguire la crescita dei baby, quindi li mantengo singolarmente in piccoli terrari.
Per allevare Holodactylus, è necessario simulare un periodo umido e uno di siccità. La stagione delle piogge potrà essere un po' più fresca di quella arida che dovrà essere molto più calda.
