Did you find the Rhoptropus on that rock? How far from the ground? I just got a pair of R. cf. bradfieldi and I'm looking for some tips.

hey guys,
The large mass in the Acacia tree is a Sociable Weaver nest. The form mass colonies, and build these HUGE nests! Some are so big that the tree or even steel telephone pool falls to the ground!
Panny, the Angolan Python we found, was on the cliffs next to a river, in semi-arid conditions. If you look at the last picture with me standing by the river, look to the lower left. On those rocks is where the snake was found...temp of about 30c at 2100pm. Very docile snakes. Breed them and i want babies!
Alessio, the cf bradfieldi you have must be much much darker than this animal no? If so, i will send you a picture of the habitat where your animial comes from. No, the Rhoptropus was not found on that rock.

Panny il pitone angola che abbiamo trovato, era su una scogliera vicino alla riva, in condizioni di semi aridità. Se guardi nell'ultima foto con me fermo sulla riva, guarda giù a sinistra. Su quelle rocce è dove abbiamo trovato il pitone temperatura di 30° e 2100 pm. Animali davvero docili, riproducili che voglio i baby!

ragazzi per chi non parlasse inglese Frank ha spiegato che quella roba sull'albero è un nido di uccelli che vivono in colonie sociali, fanno quei nidi enormi su alberi o anche su cabine telefoniche.. e a volte arrivano ad essere così pesanti che il sostegno (albero o cabina) cede e rovina al suolo
